My MUSIC preset (not only) for my SoundBlaster 5.1 Live! and Logitech Z-5400. As You can see, this setup is using 3 equalizers ;) for maximum bass and treble :) Center speaker is not used in this setup, rear speakers are used only for playing high frequencies ...  

On my opinion - the best preset for quadrophinic system:
1. Logitech z-540, z-560 etc.
2. SB Live/Audigy with no "center/subwoofer out"

tested on CT4832, SB0240, SB0120 (not OEM).

Best for winamp. Converts 5.1 into 4.0.

VRearD (rear Delay) in Surrounder+ must be set (imho) this way:
dT=L/Vs
dT - delay in ms
L - the least distance (or the average one - to your taste) between the front speaker and the rear one through the listener in mm
Vs - sonic speed in air in m/s  (about 330 m/s)

It is my config for gaming with stereo headphones, it gives something like 5.1 or 7.1 with stereo headphones :) Also it is good for VOIP like team speak or ventrillo (noise reduction), I have SB. live, I'm playing Counter strike source a lot, with this I know better where is my opponent.
Use analog rear outpout for your headphones with this config. I used APS Compressor + plugin to fade out the game sound if someone is talking in TeamSpeak. So there is never the 'PLEASE TALK A BIT LOUDER!' problem, if the game sound is very loud.

This is for standard L&R Stereo but tweaked. This is 1st attempt at making my own DSP
settings. Created on SBLive! Value. kXproject v3539. Should work for headphones also but
not tested. Plugins required: Pro FX 3538, AGC 2.0 3538, UFX 3539. Had some trouble
with 3D Sound Gen, pops and crackles can be heard at times, dont know if this is a bug or
related to my card??? would like to here your feed back good or bad and tips if possible.
im new to this but had great fun putting this together!!! Enjoy! (Digital on as standard)
