Hey ya!

This preset has been tested on Audigy2 Platinum Ex.

I won't explain how I did this. I'll just explain what the result is.

If you listen to music (WAVE, DirectSound), this preset will duplicate sound from the front speakers to the rear speakers. It will also redirect bass to the subwoofer in frequencies below 60Hz.
If you watch movies (AC3), this preset will give you full 5.1 sound with a little bass redirection from front and central speakers (I have small central speaker so this gives stronger and deeper vocals).
Also it downmixes all this to the headphones so you can use your player (PowerDVD for example) in 5.1 sound. Just plug your headphones in ;)

That's all folks, and sorry for my bad English :-D

I use this minimal preset to playalong with the computer with my bass guitar.
The general idea has been copied from a posting in the forum.
This combination has a good sound and enough headroom.
The reverb is not channeled to recording and just makes the sound monitored a little bit rounder.

Revised 01/24/06

This preset works for stereo gaming with a Mic and headphones. It was made using an Audigy.
It has been reported to work with a SB Live! 5.1 and an Audigy 2 ZS as well. It should work
with .3537-3538i. It can be used by you all who use Yahoo Voice or Team Speak 2 for gaming.

Mic volume is controlled by adjusting the In4 channel bottom slider of the MX6 Mixer. If the mic is still too
loud, hit the bypass  button for one of the 2 gain controls the Mic is running through.

If you dont want to hear yourself through the speakers, mute the Mic sliider on the AC97 page of kX Mixer. Thanks to
kX user Russ, I can tell you about this nice thing to know.

Post in the kX Forum if you have any problems.

Thanks to admk for providing the original DSP setup.

I think this it the best setup for midi synths playback. Sounds almost as APS's synths with default APS drivers.
The secret is Phase plugin on fx sends.
Just try.
