That preset has been made for ASIO multirecording on AUDIGY 2 platinum soundcard.
I know that i could add a lot of other things, but I made that preset for my personal demands,
feel free for modyfying it :-)
Specs :
Soundcard - Audigy 2 platinum.
Recording and MIDI I/O tested on - Adobe audition (only recording 48KHz), FLstudio 6 (Recording 48KHz and MIDI keyboard).
Recording for :
AUX 2 IN
LINE IN 1
LINE IN 2 / MIC2 IN
MIC1 IN
I didn't add more recording sources, because I am not using them.
From FXMix is going a "live preview" to Stereo Mix, where You can adjust volume of Live preview and preview after recording.
I have surround system, so I added Surrounder which is plugged in to 10 Band EQ.
Also I've plugged in to 10 Band EQ a headphones.
I think that is all what musician need in recording. Effects and other improving sound tools I uses in recording software.

EDIT : If You can't hear anything from recording sources it may be DISABLED FXmix (grayed layout).
If that is disabled - right click on it and choose "enable" or other command in Your language (first command from top of the list).

Hi, I have the same problem with ASIO 44.1kHz, and I suppose there is no "special" preset to make it work fine.
I mean that You can configure ASIO on any preset from settings ----> ASIO control panel, and from there
change sample rate. I am using 48kHz and everything works fine.
I tried to make 44.1kHz on FLstudio 6 and adobe audition 2, but it not works well.
If You want to play games with sound, that preset also support it (from stereo wave).
You can hear sound from headphones and from speaker (I made surrounder for 5.1).
You can also do multitrack recording on Audition 2, so I suppose on cubase it will also works fine.
Delay is low, I have 10ms (for someone it will be high, but I am recording sometimes 4 instruments at the same time. Also, You can change it for Yours demands).
Hmm 2.0 stereo is on speakers when You don't have surround system.
2.0 mono... You mean downmix stereo to mono?
